Sorry to bother you again, but when I try to put this as my background, it says it's too big (it's 1 MB) do you know how to resize it?

It is definitely not 1 MB. The image size is 253k which fits under YouTube's 256k limit. Just try again later, i can't suggest anything else, this is just an issue that YouTube needs to fix.

Are you editing the image at all? If you are then that is probably why.

I didn't edit the image at all, it says it's 1 MB and too big. Really weird.
